How To Get Involved!

Shader Croft, at its very core, is a community-based and a community-focused program. It is where everything happens: from being our best classroom, to making a positive impact in the lives of youth, to providing exciting teaching opportunities for educators – all supported by community organizations and individuals investing in the young adults of tomorrow.

Shader Croft is designed to engage the community a variety of ways. There are many opportunities to get involved in this important life-impacting work for the youths of our community. There are opportunities to support, volunteer and be employed.

Volunteer as “Citizen Educator”

One of the most important aspects of our program is introducing our students to people like you. You are our “citizen educators.” If you would be willing to host a small group of students to learn about something you know about or are interested in, let us know. You don’t need to be an expert! The purpose is really about introducing young people to the world and the people all around them.

Invest in a Student

A donate button is located on most of the pages of this website. We also have an annual fundraising campaign every spring in advance of our summer programs. Sign up for our email updates to learn about the many ways that students are needing help from our community.
