Professional Development Services

Shader Croft has developed professional learning opportunities for educators that range from half-day in-service programs to graduate level course work. All of these learning opportunities are research based and reflect what we have learned and discovered about how to close the “achievement gap” from our experience in our summer program.

The 3 credit graduate level course is entitled Leveraging Varied Contexts and Instructional Strategies to Maximize Literacy and Youth Development of Middle School Students. Instruction is a blend of online and face-to-face learning experiences. Because this course makes use of our summer program as a learning and instructional mode, it is an excellent course for anyone interested in employment in our summer program or for educators looking to start a similar program at his or her school.
